I bought these all leather, pumps that cost $60 for work. At the same time I bought a pair of boots, and sandals as well. I was reffered to this girl (mid 20%26#039;s) that sells shoes through a catalouge by a co-worker. She%26#039;s had the boots shes bought for 1 year, and loves them. So I decided to splurge and bought 3 pair. The girl that sold them to me said I could pay 1/2 now, 1/2 later. My total was $218, and I paid her $114 on my paydate on the 16th of Feb. Well, last Fri while at my other job, I got up from my desk and the heel! snapped in two!! I was mortified. I%26#039;ve only wore them about 6 or 7 times. So I called her the next day, and she said she would come today to exchange them. When she arrived, she said that they are too scuffed up for me to exchange, and that i%26#039;m basically out of $60. Yes, I do admit that the bottoms are scuffed. But thats what happens when you wear heels and you walk on the side walk and payvment. I%26#039;ve had some shoes for $20 and they%26#039;ve lasted forever!
Help! wwudo?
What would you do if your $60 shoes heel broke after only 2weeks and 3 days.... ?
Sod that!!! Don%26#039;t give her the rest of the money till she exchanges them. If she still refuses then pay the outstanding balance minus the $60 for the crappy shoes and give them back to her. Obviously the shoes are going to get scuffed, they should never have broken after wearing them a few times. You could maybe find out who she works for and get in touch with them. Did she give you a receipt? I would be well pissed if it was me and I certainly would not pay for them.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
You%26#039;ve asked her for the company%26#039;s number and she refused, this shows that she knows she is in the wrong and doesn%26#039;t want you to get in touch with her boss!! Tell her you are NOT going to pay for the shoes and that is final. It is up to her to explain it to her boss then and when she does her boss will have to get in touch with you and then you can explain your side of the story. Stick to your guns girl, don%26#039;t let her rip you off!!!
As for your manager being her cousin...I cant say how this situation will affect your relationship but if it was me I wouldn%26#039;t let it stop me from standing up for my rights!!
Reply:That she* works for. Forgot a word there lol Report It
Reply:Go to the manager of the store, tell him/her. The sqeeky wheel....
If all else fails, have it repaired, there are still good cobblers out there.
Reply:Ask the place that you purchased the shoes if you can exchange them for a new pair. Explain to the store what happened, if they won%26#039;t exchange it then write to the manufacturer, most manufacturers stand behind their products and want to assure customer satisfaction.
Reply:try superglue
Reply:sell them on ebay i sol my old uggs for $150
Reply:Insist on getting your money back. If she is adamant and refuses, let her know that you won%26#039;t be recommending any friends to her. That might be enough. If not, the only thing left that you can do is bring her to small claims court, which will cost you a fee, which you will get back if decision is in your favour, but will lose if not. Good Luck!
Reply:First of all as a guy I would never pay $60 for a pair of damned shoes to begin with.
Reply:Find out what company this girl works for and get the phone number. Call them and....if you can do it....be a b!*ch about the whole situation. I know this girl who%26#039;s the most evil person I%26#039;ve ever met and she gets everything she wants because she either scares them or makes them so mad they give her what she wants so she%26#039;ll go away. If you%26#039;re like me and can%26#039;t do that, try to be as stern as possible and threaten to call the Better Business Bureau. I never spend anymore than 50 bucks on shoes and never once had to deal with them breaking. To tell you the truth, the only shoes that really broke on me were a pair of docs that i paid over a hundred dollars for. But anyways, don%26#039;t rest till you get your money back. And if I were you, I%26#039;d go ahead and get your money back for the other 2 pairs and never deal with them again. Good Luck!!
Reply:If you have a reciept when yo0u payed for the shoe%26#039;s then you should be able to use that for the date of purchase and she should let you return them ask her if it was her what would she do.
Reply:Um, you have to bear the loss due to the wear and tear.
Not being rude but are you a bit heavy for the heels? Larger people should be aware that shoes can only support a certain amount of weight.
(I%26#039;m large and broke 3 pairs before I gave up LOL)
Reply:I would tell her that she WILL exchange them or she can be out the rest of her money that you owe her. That is bull crap to spend that much money and not even get to use them. Where is she I%26#039;ll tell her :)lol
Reply:i would call that lady again %26amp; i would be like you sold me these crapy shoes %26amp; if you dont give me a refund or let me exchange them ill tell every one about the horrible quality of your shoes!
Reply:It happends, hopefully they didn%26#039;t break you. Shoes break, cloths rip. Buy some more, or get them fixed at the shoe repair shop.
Reply:talk to the manager and ask her/him to give u half off on another pair of shoes.
Reply:talk with a kassler and **** the company that you buy that ****
Reply:First of all, never buy shoes again from a catalogue like that!
Now, for that pair she won%26#039;t exchange, when you make your other payment to her, minus the $60 for the broken pair and give them back to her.
Reply:tell her thats what you get when your walking! scuffs! there are ways to make the bottoms of shoes not scuffed up. Tell her you got up from your desk and the heel snapped in 2! You were walking in them thats what shoes are 4!
Reply:i dont think theres anything you CAN do hun except for grazy glue the heel back on.... im sorry... :%26#039;-(
Reply:I would pay her the $ owed minus the $60 . If your out of shoes, she%26#039;s out $60.
